Knots of Love

A manifestation. A prayer. An intention from the Heavens.

I see it in my mind's eye, right there, just slightly out of reach. It all plays out in my hopes and dreams that carry me through the long nights. Unintentionally I set the bar high, and now it's time to extend these T-Rex arms and reach for what's mine. It's time to put my faith to the test so that one day my soul can rest.

Since the day I first wished for you, a shadow in my dreams, always there reaching out your hand and pulling my heart strings. I have seen you in the faces of strangers and in pieces of lovers that came before this truth. Love knows no bounds until it binds me to you.

I hear your song calling me but how do I get through all the noise and distraction to let you know I have been found? How can I answer your siren's call when you are who you are? So here we are, two strangers living on opposite sides of fate. How can this feel like love when there is so much in between?

A heart wants what it desires, knot these two pieces of twine, and pray for the lovers. Let their hearts feel the pull of these strings and let the hands of destiny work their magic! May the cosmos combine these two lonely hearts and let them beat as one. Guide these soulmates through the dark and reunite them in the light. Let the past meet the present to preserve their love into next lifetime. Let their worlds collide!

Dear Universe, I ask that you guide love's compass and bring love home. Here in the sunlight where you can see me, I'll be waiting for the time to be right.

Maybe one day, you'll know it too and I'll find myself beside you.
