NIGHTMARE IN RED

It all started one day in DHS contracts....

A casual statement around the next team building exercise that became known as That F'ing puzzle, aka "the nightmare in red."

I thought to myself, "that would be a great song title! I should write that down!" But then I thought about every song I heard on the radio that morning and every heartbreak is due to some bitch in red." Now if that isn't a stereotype?!

But what if he was the nightmare in red? What if I wrote down these thoughts? Do other people compete with their lover's nightmare of heartbreak? How poetic is the heartbreak that pushes us toward the love of our life?"

And on that October day in 2023, Nightmare in Red, was written and read by my work family; and with their love and support, a seed of inspiration and belief was planted inside me, that brings us here today.
