"Caged" Angels

I believe there are angels that walk among us. Those are the people that we collectively recognize as special. Let me explain.
We are all angels! We are here guiding and helping one another. We all have something to offer the next human. There are levels to these humans, with angelic-like powers. The powers to heal, teach, protect and guide us. These are angels of light.
There are others placed here to test boundaries. These are angels that bring the dark. The ones that teach us about things we do not want to be or know.
WE are all examples of good and evil.
Even Lucifer was an Angel. He was shunned for falling.
For example: doctors, nurses, military, social workers, therapists, teachers, police officers, beauticians, artists, writers, speakers, the list is infinite. All examples of the human heroes that will stand strong in the eyes of scrutiny to be an example of kindness and compassion.
Then we have angels of temptations and disasters that come in our life to disrupt our very existence. These are the seductions of life. Gossip, judgement, addictions, illness, betrayal, jealousy, and greed. Just to name a few! Do you know that those very things come in those same examples listed above?
All the people that come in and out of our lives as parents, authority figures, public figures, siblings, influencers, acquaintances and strangers! We all are the very beings that are the delivering angels of the bigger picture.
It's actually a little mind numbing when you think of it on a universal level.
If this image of collective togetherness is as vivid in your mind as it is in mine, do you feel your mind melting? I do. It gives me the chills at how expansive life is outside of just my zip code. All of the things I haven't seen or done, places to be explored are still out there to be explored as those before me have done and for me to keep the trail ablaze for those to come.
And my friends, I say this in an open way and to not draw attention to harmful feelings. It is to refer to the point that we all have the potential to cause harm to another person, it in the intention, that determines if it was a positive or negative interaction.
I say this to bring awareness. We are energies entwined. When you hurt, there are others that hurt with you. When you rejoice, there are others to celebrate with you. These are our assigned earth angels.
The things we do and say to other humans with intent. "But I was having a bad day" is usually the apology. There again, all these interactions are necessary to experience life. What about the struggles we encounter that we hide or feel that nobody else would understand? What about the lies we tell ourselves? 'I can't, I'm not able, it's not possible, I'm scared, I'm not enough.'
When I hurt, I know others hurt. Empathy and Compassion. Two of our spiritual angels.
This is where I will stop for a moment of stillness and speak with the spiritual angels that watch over my divine energy. I sit in gratitude for the opportunities presented before me, I recognize how any situation plays out, it is my responsibility to make the best possible outcome for all involved and not at the harm of others or at the expense of myself.
This is my truth until my energy is called upon to respond in kind to what is in front of me, in the name of self-preservation. It is in this split moment of decision; will I do the right thing? Forever an internal war going on inside me.
I reevaluate and correct the harm I may have caused others in actions unpredicted in time and give forgiveness in those actions that have hurt me in return. Sometimes, I am right on time and others, the moment has passed and there is no going back.
So, I sit in the moment after it is over, and the key is right there in the letting go of the very things, people, places and things that hold us back from being the best we can be. We live in other people's shadows. Was my response the appropriate response? Did I respond in love?
Love is a choice; forgiveness is a necessary part of the process. Look around yourself, do you see your angels watching over you? The lessons begin with you.
Will you take a moment and give your angels their due? The angels around you are here to push and test you. We have them inside of ourselves, too.
Whose angel, are you? There is someone out there that needs you. Will you give what is needed of you? Kindness and understanding that the person standing in front of you is human just like you?
Every day I open my eyes; I thank my angels for giving me another day. I'm not sure when it will be my turn to fly away on their wings, but I know at the end of the day, my angels know I gave them my best and that love handled the rest.
Until then, I will continue to confront my fears and doubts by looking inside myself until they too fly away.
May I find the strength in my wings to fly free of this cage. May I fly with my angels and be an example of kindness and wisdom. May I be Angel for others.
Love, Light and Angels,
